Uninterrupted access to justice is truly the hallmark of any civilised society. Born from the sheer labour of love and to nurture universal happiness, the Satyanand Project is a Non-Government and charitable collective offering pro bono legal aid and awareness to marginalized and economically weaker members of the society.  The mainstay of the organisation is to protect and to promote public interest by spreading legal literacy, taking up causes of general public importance and by increasing access to justice.

 

In addition to offering pro bono legal aid and assistance, the Project also undertakes programmes for community welfare to ensure upliftment and equality. 

 

The Project is spearheaded, run and managed by Mehaak Jaggi, an experienced lawyer, alongwith a network of dedicated lawyers and volunteers from all over the country. 

 

Since its inception, the Project has aided a number of persons and organisations across various sections of society and undertaken numerous projects for community service. Our endeavour is to see the Project playing an active and sustained role in uplifting the state of marginalised communities. 

 

Universal happiness is an elusive benchmark- but also one that is worth pursuing everyday. We, at Satyanand Project, strive towards achieving happiness by helping others and hope we will truly see the force of togetherness in reaching this goal.
